Résumé

Des populations de Cladocères et de Copépodes ont été étudiées dans trois étangs piscicoles dont un lors de sa remise en eau après une année de culture en assec. Les caractères physico-chimiques du biotope varient avec une certaine régularité en fonction des facteurs climatiques. Plusieurs associations de Cladocères et Copépodes se succèdent pendant une période annuelle de mise en eau. Le vieillissement de l'étang par rapport à son dernier assec se traduit par une modification de la structure du peuplement en Crustacés. Certaines espèces consommées par les Carpes présentent une écophase benthique leur permettant de résister à l'assèchement, au labour et à la culture du sol de l'étang; elles assurent un peuplement rapide lors de la remise en eau.

Abstract

Populations of Cladocera and Copepoda have been studied in three fishponds of which one was refilled with water after one year of culture whilst empty. The physical-chemical characteristics of the biotope varied with a marked regularity which was a function of climatic factors. Several associations of Cladocera and Copepoda succeeded one another during an annual period after filling with water. The ageing of the pond with reference to its last dry period was shown by a modification of the structure of the crustacean population. Certain species consumed by the carp had a benthic ecophase which enabled them to resist the drainage, the labouring and the cultivation of the soil of the pond; this ensured a rapid repopulation of the pond when it was refilled.
