The article “Microbial community diversity and eco-genomics functions across sediment regimen of a saline lake” by Chen Deng, Oscar Donde and Ze Qing Li (https://doi.org/10.1051/limn/2022008) published in International Journal of Limnology in August 2022 is retracted as the data and images it contains present excessive similarities with those published in “Lu, X. et al. Microbial activity regulation of volatile organic compounds with potential fuel oxygenate within East Taijinar Salt Lake, China” published in Applied Ecology and Environmental Research in October 2021 (https://doi.org/10.15666/aeer/2001_447464). The corresponding author of the article published in International Journal of Limnology acknowledges errors and omissions and agrees with the retraction.
