Effect of environment on functional traits of co-occurring water beetles

Our study on trait-environment relationship of co-occurring water beetles in anthropogenic ponds revealed that submerged vegetation, odonate nymphs, calcium hardness, salinity and chironomid larvae affected body size, swimming traits and functional feeding groups of the beetles in assemblages.
