In the genus Rhyncholimnochares, eleven species new to science are described from running waters in Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica and Ecuador; R. lamellipalpis Lundblad, 1936 is recorded for the first time from Chile. A determination key is given for all known species at the adult/deutonymphal stage.
