The Chironomidae (Diptera) fauna of Greece: ecological distributions and patterns, taxalist and new records

This paper presents the first list of the Greek Chironomidae. Six genera and 12 species are new to Greece. Chironomidae assemblages clustered into three ecoregions, with distinct climatic, geological and hydrochemical features.
