Description of Loricyphes froehlichi, a new genus and species of Leptohyphidae (Ephemeroptera) from São Paulo, Brazil

Carlos Molineri and Rodolfo Mariano

A new genus and species of Leptohyphidae, Loricyphes froehlichi, is described from nymph, subimago and egg. The nymphs present unique armature on body, including large tubercles in all tagma. It is superficially similar to Coryphorus (Coryphoridae), but it is probably related to Tricorythodes based on gill morphology.
