The work provides a first report on seasonal variation in the functional diversity of cladoceran zooplankton from an Indian eutrophic lotic habitat. Functional redundancy was the lowest during the months of high nutrient concentration with certain functional groups completely absent. Moina species were characteristically observed in such months
