Consumption and performance responses of the amphipod Echinogammarus berilloni change during laboratory incubation

We test the effects of leaf quality and incubation duration on E. berilloni. Resource quality was positively related to consumption. Body mass condition changed with diet. Consumption, mass body condition and RNA:BM significantly interacted with incubation duration. Special care should be taken when comparing experiments with different duration.
